Peptide Guide for Laboratory Researchers

Research peptides support work in biochemistry, cell biology and molecular research. This guide gives laboratory teams the technical reference they need to select, store, reconstitute and handle research grade peptides for in vitro and ex vivo work. Every compound in the catalog is supplied for research use only.

Peptide Fundamentals

Peptides in Laboratory Research

Peptides are short chains of amino acids joined by peptide bonds. In living systems they act as hormones, neurotransmitters, signaling compounds and regulatory factors. That role is why laboratories use them to study biological pathways.
In the lab they give researchers a defined and reproducible way to study cellular mechanisms, protein interactions and biochemical pathways in controlled in vitro and ex vivo systems.
Peptide research has expanded as synthesis methods improved and the underlying biology became better understood. Solid phase synthesis in particular made long and complex sequences routine.
Reproducible results still depend on well characterized material. Purity, identity and batch documentation decide whether an experiment can be repeated.

Material Quality

Why Quality Matters in Peptide Research

Three things drive peptide quality: purity, identity and stability. Purity tells you how much of the vial is the sequence you ordered. Identity confirms it is that sequence. Stability tells you how long it stays that way under your storage conditions.
Each BioLongevity Labs batch is tested by an independent laboratory and the certificate of analysis is published in the open COA library. Read the certificate before you plan the experiment, not after.

How every batch is tested

Every batch is tested by an independent laboratory before release. The certificate reports purity, identity, quantity and endotoxin results, and each one can be verified at the issuing lab. See what gets checked and how to read the numbers.
